This building is separate and located several meters below the one above, but the level was not sufficiently low, therefore the water came through a channel of raised boards supported by solid wooden struts. The water dripping from the mill race created a curtain of icicles in winter.
Until a few decades ago, replacement of worn out millstones placed to strengthen the floor could be seen on the ground and around the yard; other fragments of grinding stones can still be seen today in the wall to protect and support the wheel. The mill was, however, a two-wheel one and used the energy of the water coming from the mills above.
