Since living memory this mill has always worked with a single weight water wheel, which moved the two millstones, the “yellow” and the “white” complete with a cheesecloth. Whilst not in use due to a request of a loan for a new roof on the mill, it was discovered that the Curia in Vicenza had imposed a security on the building resulting from unpaid tithes dating back to 1630.

Between the mill and the next one there was a building right along the canal. It is said that there was maybe another mill, the foundations of which are allegedly buried under a terraced garden allotment.
