Built at an altitude of 150m above sea level, the well is 5m deep. Inside it retains the traces of a beam used for the pulley; a tube for pumping the water is also visible, while outside a faucet dispenses water coming from the road aqueduct.
The outer part has been built in recent times by the locals with stone and mortar. The dome has a characteristic brick frame. The stone lintel of the well’s mouth is protected by a simple wire mesh and it is possible to see illegible engravings which suggest that the well is original and ancient.
